So here's what I got:
Anastasia Beverly Hills lipstick in Kathrin - The first Anastasia lipstick I ever bought and the formula is to die for. You don't even feel it on your lips and this colour has been one of my favourites to wear during summer so far. It also goes perfectly with the Modern Renaissance palette that I got. Now, I'm not entirely sure but I think this palette actually came out during my stay in Toronto because one day I saw an entire wall of them in Sephora but I decided to come back for it later that week because my basket was already pretty full. But the next day when I was ready to make the purchase, it was sold out in every single store. After we travelled across town to three different ones I had my friend call the very last option, which was another hour away, and they had one left, ONE, that they were willing to put on hold for me. So after a treasure hunt I finally got it and I have worn it so much since. I love every single shade and it's so versatile as well but the most important thing we learned from this is that when you see a make-up product that you really want, don't wait, buy it right away. I mean, that is what life was trying to teach me, right?
I also got the Make Up For Ever HD foundation in liquid form to go with the stick that I love so much but also runs out so quickly and I've been loving the lightweight formula. Then of course, I had to go for a new Sephora classic, the Becca Champagne Pop highlight and two more lipsticks. I wanted every single item from the Too Faced stand but eventually settled for one of their Melted Matte liquids in Drop Dead Red that is going to be my go-to fall/winter lipstick for sure and one from the massive range of Urban Decay Vice Lipsticks. Big Bang, the one that is bright pink and has glitters in them. Obvs.
Now this is just the stuff I got for myself. I also bought stuff for my girlfriend and sister but overall I think I contained myself pretty well. This doesn't mean that I didn't collect like 600 VIB points in just a week and that I would have bought a lot more if they'd ever have the right shade of Kat Von D's face products in stock but I saved up for it and I also have no idea when I will ever be in a Sephora again. I mean, the fact that I am already making a wishlist for when Nikita comes home for a week in November doesn't really count...
As for the rest of Toronto: it was absolutely amazing. It's like a mini, more friendly and much cleaner version of New York and I had the best time. 10/10 would recommend. Here are some other pictures I took during my stay to prove that I did more than spend a months salary on make-up.
xx Anjelica
