I can't come up with a sentence to start this blogpost. I keep trying and erasing and nothing feels good enough so I think I'm just going to cut to the chase. I am seeing Bon Jovi in London on Monday. That is right, it looks like the tour-side of this blog is going to be kick-started earlier than I thought.
It happened yesterday. I was at work and started my lunch break with 4 missed calls from my girlfriend and about 200 texts in which she shared the news. My lovely girlfriend who doesn't even like Bon Jovi that much but only entered because I asked her to won us tickets for what definitely will be the most important gig of the year. Obviously there is not much to say about it yet as it still has to happen but I guess I just wanted to document this moment here. I couldn't believe we actually won and I still can't. Of course it's been on the back of my mind ever since we entered but I didn't think it would actually happen.
Yet here I am , a casual two-day train-boat-train-plane-car trip booked and still confused, excited and overwhelmed. I am seeing them on Monday after all and after three years of not seeing them. Who would have thought... Life just got a whole lot better again though, that is for sure.
