things I want to happen next tour that probably won't

Jon in London 2013 by me
(the hand representing how I feel when I reach for these wishes)

Now that the new Backstage JBJ went live and with Matt constantly dropping hints about te tour announcement coming soon I found myself thinking about the things that I want to happen on (the European) tour. So that is what this is. An unrealistic list of wishes for the upcoming tour in no particular order.

Complete tour schedule announcement before tickets go on sale - Due to this not happening last tour I ended up with the infamous 4 shows in 5 days in 4 cities situation. It was worth it but I would love to not do that again.

These Days album tracks - This shouldn't be as unrealistic as it is. And we now know Jon actually is aware of the fact that this album exists because he casually name dropped it during the last Facebook livestream. (And casually compared it to Have A Nice Day wtf) So please, dear Jon, for the love of God and most of your fans, give us some My Guitar Lies or Damned or Lie To Me or Something To Believe In or well...

Harmonica - Can he still do it? Will we ever know? I don't know, but I would love to find out.

Demim jackets on Jon - Preferably with the famous New Jersey patches on the back. Surely he can still pull that off at 50+. And if he doesn't feel that way he could always leave the patches behind. I just love Jon in blue denim and I am sure many people agree.

A good wardrobe in general - In the category of things he shouldn't want to still pull off at 50+: leather vests. Or actually do pull them off and throw them in the bin and put the bin on fire.

No more VIP packages that take up the first couple of rows - I know for a fact that this won't happen but wouldn't it be great if they finally realised this is a thing that most of us just don't believe in. And probably never will. I am also all for fanclub perks and early entry to keep happening without having to pay $$$ on top of your front of stage entry.

Jam sessions and spontaneous setlist changes/throwing in banner requests - Like the Keep The Faith jam session on the last tour but spontanious. Although I'm here for every opportunity to see Jon on the electric guitar. And maybe I've just seen too many Bruce shows this summer.

Aesthetic merch - More in the category if Bruce can do it, so can you. You're doing well so far with the This House Is Not For Sale artwork and photoshoots so keep it up.

And this is only just the beginning, not that I am hard to please. What would you add to the list? Anything else you really wish they would (still) do on tour? I'd love to hear it!

Love, Anjelica
